このカードは，現在のオリックス・バファローズ，当時のオリックス・ブルーウェーブ主催の試合前の入場時に配られていたプレーヤーズ・カードの１つです。当時の本拠地は，神戸の山間部にあるグリーンスタジアム・神戸（現ほっともっとフィールド神戸）でした。
試合中にラッキーナンバーが発表され，裏面の番号と一致したらプレゼントがもらえました。
１９９４年はオープン戦までは鈴木一朗と名乗っていましたが，開幕直前にイチローと改名します。
ですから，このカードは開幕時にはすでに準備されていたため，改名には間に合いませんでした。
本名の鈴木一朗を名のる最後のカードです。
１９９４年にイチローは空前絶後の大活躍を果たします。
