■ 個体解説 / Description

本個体は、斑紋形成メカニズムの研究過程で人工的に得られた個体であり、斑紋形成の途中段階の顕著な特徴を有する、資料的価値の極めて高い逸品です。 ※斑紋形成過程の詳細は、Amazonにて販売中の『蝶の斑紋形成の研究』第1巻・第2巻をぜひご覧ください。

表面 (Dorsal): 後翅内縁の白条紋が短くなっており、斑紋形成の初期段階であることを示唆しています。また、後翅全体にうっすらと白い鱗粉が散布された、独特の質感を持つ美麗個体です。
裏面 (Ventral): 裏面後翅の外縁斑紋列は鮮やかな赤色を呈していますが、その中に「白」と「水色」が混ざり合うという極めて特異な配色になっています。非常に見応えがあり、学術的にも興味深い一頭です。

[English Description] This specimen was produced through artificial induction during research on wing pattern formation mechanisms. It is an exceptional item of extremely high academic and scientific value, exhibiting the distinct characteristics typical of early-stage pattern formation. Dorsal: The white streaks on the inner margin of the hindwings are shortened, a characteristic of early-stage pattern development. The hindwings are also dusted with delicate white scales, giving the specimen a unique and beautiful texture.
Ventral: The submarginal spots on the hindwings feature a vivid red base, but notably, they are intricately mixed with white and light blue. This extraordinary coloration is rarely seen and makes for a truly spectacular and highly significant specimen for any collection.
