The 6th album released in 1989 from Allan Holdsworth, a guitarist with outstanding technique who has been active in the world of jazz/fusion. Allan, of course, but also drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, who played in Karizma, is remarkable for his unmatched drumming precision, which, along with electric guitar, bass, and synthesizers, make this a special. The flexible rhythm work, complex arrangements, and top-notch grooves make this a modern sound that is hard to believe was released more than 35 years ago. The roaring performances of "54 Duncan Terrace" and "Spokes" are amazing. A beautiful Canada Original.
