The 6th release in the New Hippies series by Belgian experimental cassette label Red Neon Tapes. It is a compilation of underground artists with a solid release history, both domestic and international, and is filled with high quality tracks with nothing to be discarded. Among them are drone ambient electronics “Wasserfest 1” by Die Rache aka German artist Peter Schuster, classical ambient style synth electronics “Wasserfest 2” by The Moth, “What He Said” by Frak, which sounds like a blaring machine funk, and the industrial EBM ”Moving Out” by The Drum Fondu. Unfortunately, the insert is missing, but the label's releases themselves are rare.

ベルギーのエクスペリメンタル・カセット・レーベルRed Neon Tapesが展開していたNew Hippiesシリーズの第6弾。国内外のしっかりリリース歴のある地下アーティストが中心となったコンピレーションアルバムとなっていて捨て曲らしきものも見当たらないクオリティな楽曲が占めています。中でも多くのリリースを持つ独アーティストPeter Schusterの変名Die Racheによるドローン・アンビエント・エレクトロニクス”Wasserfest 1”、クラシカルな雰囲気漂うThe Mothによるシンセ・エレクトロニクス”Month Of Sundays”、カラカラのマシーン・ファンクのようなFrakの”What He Said”、The Drum FonduによるインダストリアルEBM”Moving Out”は印象的。全編楽しんで頂けると思います。残念ながらインサート欠ですが稀少なカセット作品です。
