A visual artist and performer Marnie Weber who pioneered LA art rock scene in the '80s and continues to produce work today. This 1991 album was her second solo album, released after her time in a band. The gloomy synthesizers, heavy bass, and strange melodies are still present, but the impression is that the band sound is more focused than on the previous album. Among the best tracks are laidback track “Lucky Fellow” with nice drum sound, shoegaze-like track “Cinema Song” with an impressive bass tone, and the bizarre machine track “Butterfly, Bodyguard”. She has a stronger love for fashion, sculpture, and film, and despite being able to play bass and synths, music hasn't really been on her agenda. But then she made something like this goodie... The record appears to be a regular '94 release from Greece.
