数ある標準マクロの中でも、「小型化」と「描写」を両立させたレンズと言われており、オリンパスOMシステムを象徴する一本です。
■このレンズの真髄：3mから「無限」へ飛び込む設計
このレンズの距離目盛にご注目ください。3mの次が、もう無限遠（∞）になっています。 これは設計ミスではなく、「近接撮影における解像力」に全神経を注いで作られた証拠です。3m以上の距離はスマホのような感覚でスナップ撮影を楽しめます。
このZUIKOは「手元のミクロな世界をどう写し止めるか」という一点において、中間域の距離設定を削ぎ落としてまで、ヘリコイドの回転角を近接側に贅沢に割り振っています！その分、マクロ域でのピントの追い込みを楽しむことのできるレンズです。
■MC（マルチコート）がもたらすヌケ
本個体は「MC」版。オールドレンズらしい柔らかなボケ味を維持しつつも、マルチコートによって逆光時のコントラスト低下が抑えられています。

装着テスト未実施： 対応ボディを所有していないため、実機の撮影テストは行っておりません。
経年感： 長期の常温保管品につき、なんとなく経年感を感じます。
光学系： 後玉より強い光を当てて確認したところ、チリの混入が見受けられます。実写への影響や、完璧なクリアさを求める方はご遠慮ください。

■ The Essence: A Design That Jumps from 3m to "Infinity"
Take a look at the distance scale: after the 3m mark, it goes straight to infinity (∞). This is not a design flaw; it is proof that every bit of engineering was poured into maximizing resolution for close-up photography. While typical 50mm lenses are designed primarily for street snaps, this ZUIKO sacrifices mid-range distance settings to "luxuriously" allocate the helicoid’s rotation angle to the macro range. No Mounting Test: As I do not own a compatible camera body, I have not conducted actual shooting tests.
Vintage Condition: This item has been stored at room temperature for a long period. Expect age-appropriate wear and changes both internally and externally.
Optics: When inspected with a strong light from the rear element, some internal dust is visible. If you are concerned about the impact on images or are looking for perfect clarity, please refrain from purchasing.
